About CEIT
Centre for Excellence in Information Technology (CEIT) is a flagship project under the India-Morocco Cooperation. CEIT is being jointly managed by Institut National des Postes et Télécommunications (INPT) nominated by the Ministry of Industry, Investment, Trade and Digital Economy of Morocco, and Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) nominated by the Government of Republic of India. CEIT has been established at Technopark,Casablanca, as a capacity building platform in the emerging areas of technology for creating a talent pool in IT at Morocco. Smart classrooms and state-of-the-art labs, along with video conferencing facility, is being established at CEIT-Casablanca for basic and advanced IT programs to cater to the IT requirements with experts coming from India in the first phase of the program, they will teach and share their technical knowledge, such an arrangement would provide an impetus to the ongoing technical advancement in Morocco. The programs, ranging from 08 to 16 weeks, have been designed as for the market requirements. Placement assistance shall be provided to the students graduating from CEIT. With this, CEIT is anticipated to contribute the development of IT experts and skills in Morocco.

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is a premier Research & Development organization of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, for carrying out R&D in IT, Electronics and associated areas. C-DAC has been working on strengthening national technological capabilities in India in the context of global developments. About INPT
Founded in 1961, the National Institute of Posts and Telecommunications (Institut National Des Postes et Télécommunications, INPT), one of the leading Moroccan engineering schools, is known for being one of the prestigious engineering Graduate schools of the Kingdom of Morocco in the fields of Telecommunications and Information Technologies (IT). It offers programs in the following areas:
- Computer Sciences and Networks;
- Telecommunications and Multimedia;
- Telecommunications and IT Management.
Since the establishment of the Engineering Cycle, the Institute has acquired an undeniable and recognized experience in the field of engineering studies. It has repeatedly participated in setting up teaching and training programs for national and international institutions.
India - Morocco cooperation
Within the framework of establishing cooperation between Moroccan and Indian Governments in the field of training in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), the Ministry of Industry, Investment, Trade and Digital Economy (MIICEN), and the CDAC join their efforts to exchange and to transfer the know-how in the area of ICT. This cooperation is in line with the vision of the Moroccan Kingdom to meet the needs of this sector in terms of highly qualified resources. The Ministry of Industry, Investment, Trade and Digital Economy and the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India signed a Cooperation Agreement in order to establish the CEIT Centre at Casablanca.
